Hailing from Mt. Airy, GA, Ivy Mountain was a small, 2-man operation started by infamous moonshiner, Carlos Lovell. Years after Carlos was released from prison, at the age of 83, he decided to go fully legitimate and fulfill his dream of owning a fully operational distillery. Carlos, along with his brother, Fred, laid down a few full-size barrels a week until his untimely passing in 2019. This straight 4-grain bourbon whiskey is both endlessly interesting and riddled with secrets. We’re blessed to be able to share it with you.

This lot of barrels is from the renowned Willett Distillery and was double-oaked in St. Helena, Napa. We will release these as we deem them ready. Already showcasing a wide spectrum of flavors, textures, and nuance, these barrels will be exciting to share and mature for years to come!
